We were instructed by our client following a number of failed planning applications and an arduous planning and design phase. The client managed to achieve consent for a small family home with a modern design. After having instructed contractors to begin works, the client was left with a semi-complete structure as the contractors appointed failed to agree to the terms set out, and abandoned both the site and our client.
Following a recommendation from a previous client, we were contacted to assist and complete the construction of the semi-built structure and site. After reviewing the plans and seeing the difficult circumstances the client had been placed in, we drew up a new scope of works and appointed a project manager to ensure the previous problems would not repeat themselves.
Following our appointment, we created a small modern house design within the traditional shape of the neighbouring houses in accordance with the detailed plans. We always aim to exceed the brief so we went for a contemporary look with natural finishes and optimal use
of daylight.
Six months after our appointment the client was finally able to move in to the finished property with his family and enjoy his late father’s legacy.
